This is last instalment in the 3 part series . you can read Part I and Part II as independent posts as well. A quick list of Tips for Indian on Budget :

  • Get liquor from Duty Free . Do not Buy from restaurants as far as possible as liquor is expensive. One Should give local Tiger Beer a Shot.
  • Avoid Cigarettes . Too risky , if caught as there is no personal Allowance applicable.
  • Hotel check-in times are 3 PM onwards and checkout by noon . Therefore, plan your flights accordingly. Do not expect much support from hotel staff for late checkout for early check-ins.
  • Universal Studios and SEA Aquarium are next to each other . Cover Both on the same day.
  • Universal Studios : Most of the rides are good. Battle Star Galactica – Cylon ride is quite tumultuous (depending on wo is saying). People with Blood pressure, Cervical , Slip Disk issues Should not take this Ride.
  • S.E.A is amazing and should visit this attraction.
  • Make sure to watch “Wings of time” Show in Santosa Island but Do not waste Money on 3D / 4D shows. IMAX in delhi has much better experience
  • Singapore Zoo and Night safari – Both can be covered in a day
  • Gardens by the Bay and Shopping – 1 day
  • Cruise for 3 days – The best part of any trip
  • Apple products are cheaper than india . rest is not worth buying in Singapore . Nor even the clothes.
  • But do borrow the Fashion sense of Singapore. Awesome
  • Tap Water is Good. If you travelling with Children, you cab pick bottled water for children from 7-11 to be sure

The Best part of Visiting Zoo, S.E.A and Night Safari is that most of the proceeds from tickets go towards upkeep of these facilities, Animals and Sea creatures . I feel good about contributing to the cause

Singapore Zoo – India Rhinos
Sharks – S.E.A
Animal Show
